Berea College Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will present a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at the Brownstown Presbyterian Church as part of its spring concert tour. The choir also will provide music for the 10 a.m. worship service at the local church on Sunday, March 28.

Palo Alto High School's student-run online news website is among the finalists for a national scholastic journalism award for the eighth year in a row. The Paly Voice is one of 13 finalists in the "more than 1,500 enrollment" category for the Pacemaker Award, conferred by the National Scholastic Press Association. Some 132 high school websites entered the 2010 contest in both the "less than 1,500 enrollment" and "more than 1,500 enrollment" categories.

Maureen Griffin, from Phoenix, and Eric Griffin from Tucson. Additionally, they were honored to have Anjanet Griffin, Eric's wife, and two children, Julius and Russell, in attendance. The 21-month-old grandson, Russell, was an absolute joy to watch as he quietly listened and intently watched the couple exchange vows with seemingly wonderment and amazement, Lu said.

The follow-up from the band from Glen Oak, New Jersey is no less ambitious. According to lead-man Patrick Stickles "The Monitor" is a concept album about the American Civil War.
